In general terms, global i-names begin with an “=” (for individuals) or an “@” for communities or businesses and can be broken up with dots, dashes or underscores. For example, =example, =first.last, @exampleco and @exampleco-north would be global i-names.
With Community registry services and a * delegation character, it is possible to attach any number of identifiers to a global name. Examples of this would be =example*bob or @exampleco*marketing*bob, etc.
EZ iBroker offers Community Registry Services, that work seamlessly with the global registry, either alone or as part of the ASP package. I-brokers can resell these names or communities to directly run their own local registries for pennies per member per month.
Community i-names can be used with all of the same i-services as global names and they add a new dimension to the i-names landscape for communities of any size. |
